Visiting Clearwater Beach and don't know where to eat? The area boasts tons of great restaurants; all catering to a variety of tastes and price ranges. Here are just a few of my favorites for just about every occasion.
Maggie Mae's Sunrise CafeRegarded as one of the best breakfast spots on Clearwater Beach, Maggie's also specializes in serving a meal all its own "Blunch," which Maggie refers to as "the meal for those who have too much of a hangover to get out of bed in time for breakfast." The atmosphere is casual and playful, and the eats are comfort food delicious. My personal favorite is the Florida Pecan Waffle, topped with Maggie's own special blend Grand Marnier and Malibu Rum Syrup. "Hillbilly Taters" are excellent too!
Island Way GrillWhile Maggie Mae's is on the casual side, Island Way Grill is upscale, and the perfect fine dining dinner spot. But folks looking to vacation on a budget shouldn't shy away from one of Clearwater Beach's best upscale restaurants - they offer Early Bird Specials with a soup/salad, entree, and dessert for only $10! Personally, I'm a big fan of their sushi bar, but unlike other sushi restaurants, those I dined with could enjoy something else from the menu without any problems. Best place to get local, fresh-caught fish.
